Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to all purchases made through cdaacademyfl.com. Please read it carefully before purchasing. By completing a purchase, you agree to this Policy. Different rules apply to short courses/webinars and to main courses, as described below.

Our offerings are educational products and services, including live short courses and webinars, and longer main courses (such as The CDA Readiness Course). Because seats, scheduling, instructor time, and content access are committed once an event begins or a course is delivered, refunds are limited as described below.

• No refund is available after the event date.
• If you are unable to attend, you may receive a credit equal to the amount paid, which may be applied toward a future event or toward the tuition of a main course.
• Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and must be used within 12 months of issuance.
• To request a credit, contact us at [email protected] before or promptly after the event date.

• The deposit is non-refundable once the initial (first) class has taken place. After the first class, no portion of the deposit will be refunded under any circumstances.
• Any payment beyond the deposit is refundable only on a prorated basis according to how much of the course has been taught at the time of your refund request.
• Once 50% or more of the course has been taught/delivered, no refund of any kind is available (including amounts paid beyond the deposit).
• "How much of the course has been taught" is measured by the portion of scheduled classes/sessions or curriculum delivered as of the date we receive your written request, as determined by our records.

Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account, including your name, the course or event name, and the date. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days; processing times by your bank/card issuer may vary. Approved credits are applied to your account and confirmed by email.

• Payment plans / installments: Enrolling in a payment plan for a main course commits you to the full course tuition. The refund rules in Section 3 (non-refundable deposit after the first class; prorated for amounts beyond the deposit; no refund once 50% or more has been taught) apply to amounts already paid. Access may be suspended for missed or failed payments.
• Subscriptions (if offered): You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Unless required by law, payments already made are non-refundable, and you retain access until the end of the current paid period.

If you were charged in error, charged an incorrect amount, or a course is materially defective or materially misrepresented, contact us promptly and we will investigate and, where appropriate, correct the charge or provide a remedy as required by applicable law.

No refund will be issued where your access is terminated for violating our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or Student Code of Conduct (for example, sharing your account or distributing course content).

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first — we will work to resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us, or in violation of this Policy, may result in suspension of your account and forfeiture of access. We maintain records of your agreement to these Terms and of content delivery to respond to disputes.

We may update this Policy; the version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
